મહિલા સ્વ-રોજગાર દિવસની ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી
કેમ્પસ ઇન્ટરવ્યુ દ્વારા ૧૩ કંપની દ્વારા ૧૨૪ મહિલાઓની પસંદગી કરવામાં આવી
મહિલા અને બાળ વિકાસ વિભાગ દ્વારા આયોજિત “ નારી વંદન ઉત્સવ ‘’‘ અંતર્ગત મહિલા સ્વાવલંબન દિવસ નિમિત્તે નંદકુંવરબા મહિલા કોલેજ, ભાવનગર ખાતે જિલ્લા મહિલા અને બાળ અધિકારીની કચેરી અને જિલ્લા રોજગાર કચેરીના સંયુક્ત ઉપક્રમે સ્વ-રોજગાર મેળાનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
મહિલા સ્વરોજગાર મેળામાં કુલ ૪૮૦ મહિલા ઉમેદવારોએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. હાજર રહેલ મહિલાઓના ઇન્ટરવ્યું લેવાં તેમજ મહિલાઓને રોજગાર મળી રહે તે હેતુથી જુદી-જુદી ૧૩ કંપનીઓના પ્રતિનિધિઓ આ કાર્યક્રમમાં હાજર રહ્યાં હતાં.
કાર્યક્રમના અંતે હાજર રહેલ ૧૩ કંપનીઓ દ્વારા મહિલા ઉમેદવારોના ઇન્ટરવ્યું લઇ હાજર રહેલ મહિલાઓમાંથી ૧૨૪ મહિલાઓને પ્રાથમિક પસંદગી કરવામાં આવી હતી.
આ કાર્યક્રમના અધ્યક્ષ તરીકે ભાવનગર મેયર શ્રીમતી કિર્તીબાળા દાણીધરીયાએ જણાવ્યું કે, મહિલાઓ હવે કોઇ ક્ષેત્રમાં પાછળ નથી. ત્યારે હવે પુરૂષને ખભેખભો મીલાવીને કામ કરવાની શક્તિ નારીએ મેળવી છે તો તેનો પોતાના પરિવાર અને સમાજની ઉન્નતિ માટે કરવો જોઇએ.
રાજ્ય અને કેન્દ્ર સરકારની મહિલાલક્ષી નીતિને કારણે આજે મહિલા અઠવાડિયાની ઉજવણી થઇ રહી છે. સરકાર તમારી કોલેજમાં આવીને તમારા ઇન્ટરવ્યું કરાવડાવી રહી છે આ કોઇ નાની વાત નથી. સરકારની નારીશક્તિને આગળ લાવવાં માટેની ઇચ્છાશક્તિ તેમાં દેખાઇ આવે છે તેમ તેમણે વધુમાં ઉમેર્યું હતું.
જિલ્લા મહિલા અને બાળ અધિકારીશ્રી કે.વી.કાતરીયા, દહેજ પ્રતિબંધક અધિકારી સહ રક્ષણ અધિકારીશ્રી ડો.સોનલ બી. પટેલ, દહેજ પ્રતિબંધક અધિકારી સહ રક્ષણ અધિકારીશ્રી કે.એચ.મોરયાણી, તેમજ મહિલા આઇ.ટી.આઇ. ના લેક્ચરરશ્રી પાર્થિવભાઇ ઓઝા તેમજ જિલ્લા રોજગાર અધિકારીશ્રી સંજયભાઇ ગોહિલ તેમજ ડો.વિમલ જગડ, CED , જિલ્લા કો-ઓર્ડિનેટરશ્રી તેમજ નંદકુંવરબા મહિલા કોલેજના ડાયરેક્ટરશ્રી રવિભાઇ સરવૈયા ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યાં હતાં.

Women's Self-Employment Day was celebrated
124 women were selected by 13 companies through campus interview
A Self-Employment Mela was organized by the District Women and Child Officer Office and District Employment Office at Nandkunwarba Mahila College, Bhavnagar on the occasion of Women Self-Reliance Day under the “Nari Vandan Utsav” organized by Women and Child Development Department.
A total of 480 women candidates participated in the Mahila Swarojgar Mela. Representatives of 13 different companies were present in this program to interview the women who were present and to get employment for women.
At the end of the program, 124 women were selected from among the women who were present after interviewing the female candidates by the 13 companies present.
Bhavnagar Mayor Mrs. Kirtibala Danidharia as the chairman of this program said that women are no longer behind in any field. Now that a woman has got the power to work shoulder to shoulder with a man, she should do it for the betterment of her family and society.
Women's week is being celebrated today due to the women oriented policy of the state and central government. Government coming to your college and interviewing you is not a small matter. He further added that it shows the government's will to bring forward women's power.

Lecturer Mr. Parthivbhai Ojha and District Employment Officer Mr. Sanjaybhai Gohil and Dr. Vimal Jagad, CED, District Coordinator and Director of Nandkunwarba Mahila College Mr. Ravibhai Saravaiya were present.
