કેન્દ્રએ ફ્લેગ કોડ ઓફ ઈન્ડિયામાં સુધારો કર્યો છે જેથી ભારતનો રાષ્ટ્રધ્વજ જ્યાં સુધી ખુલ્લો હોય ત્યાં સુધી તે દિવસ અને રાત લહેરાતો રહે. આ પગલું કેન્દ્રના હર ઘર તિરંગા ઝુંબેશને વધુ વેગ આપવાનું છે, જે અંતર્ગત કેન્દ્રએ તમામ નાગરિકોને 13-15 ઓગસ્ટની વચ્ચે તેમના ઘરે ત્રિરંગો ફરકાવવા વિનંતી કરી છે.

The government amended the Flag Code of India
The Center has amended the Flag Code of India so that the national flag of India flies day and night as long as it is unfurled. The move is to give further impetus to the Centre's Har Ghar Triranga campaign, under which the Center has requested all citizens to hoist the tricolor at their homes between August 13-15.
