શેખ હસીના વિષે માહિતી મેળવીએ.
બાંગ્લાદેશમાં શેખ હસીનાનો દબદબો યથાવત્ છે. તેમણે સળંગ ત્રણ વાર પી.એમનું પદ મેળવ્યું છે. જોકે તેમની ઉપર વિરોધી પક્ષ દ્વારા બનાવટી વોટિંગનો આરોપ લાગી ચૂક્યો છે પણ તેમણે આ આરોપોનું ખંડન કરીને ૨૦૧૯માં પોતાની ત્રીજી વારની સત્તામાં પોતાના મંત્રીમંડળમાં મોટાભાગે નવા લોકોને ચાન્સ આપ્યો હતો.
તે કહે છે કે હું મારા દેશના હિત માટે કટિબદ્ધ છું. શરૂઆતમાં તેમની પર લાગેલા ભ્રષ્ટાચારના આરોપોના કારણે તેમને જેલમાં પણ રહેવું પડ્યું હતું. જેલમાં રહ્યાં બાદ પોતાનો ઇલાજ કરાવવા તે અમેરિકા ગયાં ત્યારે બધાંએ તેમને ભાગેડું કહ્યાં હતાં.
જોકે આ બધાને જવાબ આપવા શેખ હસીના ફરી ૨૦૦૮માં અહીં આવી તેમણે ચૂંટણીમાં ઝંપલાવી જીત મેળવી હતી. ૭૧ વર્ષની ઉંમરમાં રાજકારણમાં શેખ હસીનાએ ઘણાં ચડાવઉતાર જોયા છે, તેમની ઉપર અનેક લાંછન લગાવવાના પ્રયત્નો પણ થયા છે, તેમ છતાં હજી તે અડગ છે.
